Lesson structure and scheduling

When:  Weekdays 5-8pm, Saturdays 9-12pm

Length: 60 minutes (5 mins registration, 55 minutes focused teaching)

Frequency:  Weekly – students are assigned a regular weekly slot.

Group Lesson Options:

  • Cover all three sciences in one weekly lesson -the topics will rotate through biology, chemistry, and physics. This is perfect if you’re on a budget but still want support in all subjects.
  • Separate weekly lessons for biology, chemistry and physics. You can attend just one, or all three, it’s up to you.  This option allows for deeper learning and more practice in each subject. Ideal if you’re aiming for top grades or want to focus on a particular science.

Tier:   Following initial consultation, you will be offered a place in a foundation or higher tier class depending on what is the right for you.

One-to-One Lessons:

  • Book a regular weekly lesson slot at a time that suits you – you decide what content you would like to cover. This is the most flexible option.

How lessons work

Online delivery: Lessons are through Zoom – a free, easy-to-use video calling platform for online meetings and classes.

Free initial consultation: Before starting lessons I aim to find out the student’s learning needs, what level they are currently working at based on recent test scores, motivation for seeking tuition,  and availability. I do this through either text messaging, or if preferred, a phone call or online meeting via Zoom. In this way, you are fully supported before starting lessons.

Payment method: I take payment by bank transfer in advance or immediately after the lesson.
